The South African band, Diamond Thug release second single leading up to their debut album.

Following previous single Eclipsed, Diamond Thug lift the second cut, Cosmic Dreamer, from their forthcoming debut full-length, set for release early next year.

Cosmic Dreamer is an exciting taste of Diamond Thug‘s expansive soundscape. Soaring high on spacious melodies, the tune captures with subtle rhythmic section and Chantel Van T’s mysterious hypnotic vocals. Surreal and authentic, the band easily creates an electro-bubble of hazy dreams, the kind we lose ourselves in sometime.

The band explains:

‘Cosmic Dreamer’ speaks to the expedition of a traveller yearning to drift out of the space they occupy. An external force grips them, pulling them beyond the realm of their experience, giving them a taste of a new expansive, exciting and awakening orbit. The song describes the liberating journey of escaping one’s known world, bending the rules of gravity and breaking the bounds separating reality from surreality.
