TRUDY AND THE ROMANCE Unveil New Single ‘Is There A Place I Can Go’

The trio to release Junkyard Jazz EP this November.

Mutant 50s Pop daydreamers Trudy and the Romance share brand new track Is There A Place I Can Go, lifted from their forthcoming EP Junkyard Jazz, out in November.

Reaching over four minutes, Is There A Place I Can Go is a truly compelling offering from the Liverpool lot. Conjuring a sense of lucid dream, Trudy and the Romance invite us into their spacious daze of blissful and slightly distorted soundscapes. With a reflective nature, the ballad creates a cinematic feel of love doubt, and it’s a great example of the trio’s broad potential.

The band explains:

‘Is There A Place I Can Go’ is a love song about family, friends and coming of age in the new world. It’s a juvenile ballad using all the spank & tools we had to make the biggest bang.

Junkyard Jazz EP is set for release on November 17th via B3SCI.

Our stuff’s like a collage and we’re trying to jigsaw it all together. The songs on the EP are meant to be loose but compact. It ties together as a bunch of different little stories; Junkyard Jazz, a messy love.
