Aussie trio is set to return to the UK this winter as main support for The Kooks arena tour.

Last week DMA’S surprised us with brand new track Dawning, their first new music since last year’s debut album Hills End, and now we’ve got some visuals to accompany it.

Shot in Sydney by Spike Vincent, the video portrays the band in their own habitat of hometown Sydney. With their signature guitar abundance and Brit Rock references, the track makes a perfect soundtrack to our journey around the city as we creep up on the guys. It also allows a genuine glimpse into their life off stage.

Vocalist Tommy O’Dell says of the song:

We’re giving people the opportunity to decide what the song means to them… we wanted the song to convey a dark message but at the same time create a piece of music that sounds uplifting & hopeful.

DMA’S are currently recording their new album, due 2018. In the meantime they will be touring with The Kooks around the UK, and added two headline dates. They are also doing two dates in Australia to celebrate this new single.
