DANIEL DOCHERTY Unveils Debut Track ‘Hold Me’
Scottish singer-songwriter Daniel Docherty shares video for his gorgeous debut single Hold Me.
The heart wrenching track shows a strong refinement and true craftsmanship as it progresses. Daniel’s busking background can be heard, shining through in the form of raw vocals and guitars driving through.
“It’s a great way to write songs and immediately try them out in public, there’s a spontaneous connection and meeting people like this is one of the most rewarding experiences”, he says about his street performance. As those days have passed and heading into the studio is more common for his these days, Daniel Docherty has transitioned without a hitch.
The video for Hold Me embodies glimpses of his past, performing on the streets and in front of sights of Budapest. Directed by Kris Pouw, the imagery enhances the emotive nature of the clip and balances the delicate pass of the track.
Doherty explains:
The protagonist of the song doesn’t want the other person to leave. So clings on to her. It’s not a sad song, it’s still upbeat.
