Plottwist: Spotify Will Start Selling Beauty Products
We didn’t see this coming, but the streaming service is about to venture into the world of beauty.
The $16 billion streaming giant is currently in an ongoing partnership with Merchbar for the merchandise, and it’s this partnership the company is said to be expanding to include beauty products.
Even with record streaming numbers and about 60 million paying costumers, the company is losing money. Maybe this idea is a desperate attempt to boost revenue? Or did the streaming service actually think beauty was the natural next step?
The service will now offer fans the opportunity to buy artist’s look through the service, maybe a bit desperate, but this might be fun.
