CASEY Unveil Poignant New Track ‘Bruise’

The Welsh five-piece Casey share new cut Bruise, off of their sophomore record Where I Go When I Am Sleeping, out this month.

Ahead of the release of their second full-length, Where I Go When I Am Sleeping, Casey have unveiled intense new single, Bruise.

Deeply personal and relatable in a way, Bruise is yet another insight into Tom Weaver’s emotional state. Born out of human fragility and pain, the song erupts into an evocative array of feelings and experiences, suitably building up an altered vision of the soundscape.

Bruise, alongside further as-yet-unreleased album tracks Needlework and The Funeral, serves as somewhat of a link between Casey’s first album Love Is Not Enough and their forthcoming new record.

As vocalist Tom Weaver explains:

‘Bruise’ explores how I feel now about the topics I was writing about on the first record. It also looks forward, introducing the idea that the experiences I’ve been through have left me in a fragile state, which leads into a feeling of guilt and of insufficiency, not feeling deserving enough of happiness.

Where I Go When I Am Sleeping due out on March 16th via Hassle Records.

To celebrate the album release Casey will be heading out on UK & EU headline tour this Spring.
