Guildford-based Annabel Allum has unveiled new clip for her latest Rascal.

Following up from her first release of the year Beat The Birds, this exuberant new track offers up something different from the talented artist. Hard to define by genre, Annabel Allum combines various elements and inspiration that make up her charismatic sound, and Rascal is no different.

Annabel explains:

‘RASCAL’ pinpoints a phase in time when it felt like no matter what I was doing, it wouldn’t be right. Trying to look after myself, the people close to me, the people around me, and never finding a balance in any of it. I would either give too much or nothing at all. I still do that. It’s quite a sad song. Self-scrutiny, really. I guess I’m just still learning that it’s okay to not be able to please everything all the time.

Annabel takes on festivals such as The Great Escape, BBC’s Radio 1 Biggest Weekend and Siren Festival this summer. She also is jumping on Australia’s own Stella Donnelly’s tour in a few dates around the UK.
