CALPURNIA Unveil Video for ‘Greyhound’

Calpurnia have released atmospheric visuals for their swaying single Greyhound.

Lifted from their debut EP, Scout, out now, Greyhound is an excellent groovy offering from the young band.

Rolling on the captivating melodic beat and raw yet infectious vocal layers, Greyhound captures the listeners’ attention in a flash. With an equally engaging narrative the visuals complement the track brilliantly, adding an intriguing element to the whole concept. The video was directed by Jeremy Schaulin-Rioux, and it isn’t the first time that he and members of Calpurnia have worked together.

Finn Wolfhard says:

If Jeremy hadn’t cast me and Malcolm in PUP’s “Guilt Trip” video back in 2014, I doubt Calpurnia would even exist.  He was not only instrumental in the genesis of our band, but he established what for me is the ideal tone on set. To have it all come full circle with Jeremy directing our “Greyhound” video, it really is kind of amazing.  I mean, I don’t think you could actually write this story, because no one would believe it. This is the third video I’ve worked on with Jeremy, but with his imagination and energy so infectious, I very much doubt it will be the last.

Calpurnia have played a handful of shows to date, with all selling-out instantly. Debut UK dates are expected later in the year.
