The XCERTS are set to release brand new stripped back and acoustic EP Late One Night this October.

Featuring five brand new versions of songs from the band’s recent album Hold On To Your Heart, Late One Night EP will arrive on October 5th via Raygun Records.

The EP will be released as a limited edition signed and numbered 12” Vinyl, and as a first taste The XCERTS have shared an acoustic version of their single Daydream.

Murray Macleod says of the new EP:

The idea to record quieter versions of songs from ‘Hold On To Your Heart’ came on our in-store run promoting the record. We really got a kick out of playing these stripped back versions and thought we should get them on tape. We recorded the entire EP in one night which lent a nice organic feel to it and hopefully makes for a nice contrast to the album. We have a tendency to over analyse so it was cool just to hangout and keep the session as loose as possible. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it.

The XCERTS will be touring the UK with The Goo Goo Dolls through July, performing at this year’s Reading and Leeds Festival and then rounding out the year touring with You Me At Six. They are also set to play a very special and intimate show at London’s St Pancras Church on October 3rd.
