Playful and full of energy, get ready to move along to the latest single from Kimono Loco.

Lifted from their upcoming EP, Kimono Loco have shared the first single Big Boy and it’s a delightful tease of what to expect.

Produced by the acclaimed Irish producer and Westwood Studios engineer Shane Shanahan (Kygo, Scott Walker, Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, Frank Ocean & more) and the band’s vocalist James Hofbauer, you’ll be left wanting more of the vibrant energy that shines in the track. Tantalising bass riffs mix with cheeky guitar hooks and precise drum work to create a playful mood to accompany the refreshing vocals. It’s an enthralling look into the trials and tribulations that are an essential part of growing up, turning them into an ecstatic tune that you’ll want to hear over and over again. There are obvious hints of ‘80s synth-action, as delightful pop tunes take over and infuse themselves into your mind.

On the single, Kimono Loco comments:

‘Big Boy’ is our most ridiculous track yet, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. You can hear much more of the 80’s in this EP and that’s something you can expect from us in the future.
