Band Of The Week // NORMANDIE

Gearing up for the release of their sophomore album White Flag, Swedish rockers Normandie share new video for Enough.

Normandie 2018

If you’re after a groundbreaking rock sound, look no further than our band of the week Normandie.

Releasing their third single and video Enough from their upcoming album White Flag, set to be released on October 26th, you’ll find yourself drawn in and encapsulated by the catchy melodies and soaring vocals. With a host of thrilling instrumentals, it’s an electrifying track that is sure to get your heart pumping and induce a sing-along. The video is equally delightful, and it’s sure to get you giggling as the band dress up as each other and play each other’s instruments.

We got in touch with vocalist Philip Strand to ask him some questions all centred around the theme of ‘enough’.

What’s something you can never get enough of?

Food. I love food more than music sometimes.

Can you think of a time when you’ve thought ‘enough is enough’?

Hmm yeah sure, an old relationship where her cheating was never-ending, and it went so far that her friends told me to leave her.

What are the biggest changes you’ll like to make as a band?

As a band I don’t think we will change that much more, maybe evolve more with the live shows. Try new instruments etc.

What is there not enough of in the music industry or life in general?

Females. Our booking agent, PR-agent and our manager are all female and the best people, it would be nice to see more of that in the future.

Do you feel like you have enough time to achieve everything you want? If you had more time, what would you like to be able to do?

Yeah, I’m not in a hurry. Quality over quantity. I’m quite good with planning my time, and my home is a work free zone.

Can you explain the inspirations and themes behind Enough?

Enough is a song about falling in love when you shouldn’t, you’d rather be hurt than be alone.

Catch the band on their upcoming UK tour dates.
