ASKING ALEXANDRIA Release Acoustic Version of ‘Alone In A Room’
Prepare to be swept away by the beautifully stripped-down version of Asking Alexandria’s Alone In A Room.
Asking Alexandria have shared a gorgeous acoustic version of Alone In A Room as well as the accompanying visuals.
The emotion lying behind the track is further brought out in this version, as orchestral strings swell across Danny Worsnop’s emotionally-laden vocals. Acoustic guitar and piano lie under soaring vocals to create a piercing emotional intensity, as all of the feelings lay into you through the expansive soundscape. Heartbreakingly tender, you’ll get shivers down your spine at this delicate version of the track with its serene accompaniment that harbours a storm of brewing emotions underneath.
The visuals are equally stunning, seeing the band deliver an impassioned performance in a church whilst white specks flutter across the screen. There’s a touch of humour towards the end of the video, as you see pastor yell at the band, “Hey! What are you doing in here?”, leading to the band exchanging panicked glances before running away in a hurry.
Speaking on the track and video, guitarist Ben Bruce says:
In celebration of Alone in a Room smashing into the top 10 at radio this week we decided to record a video for our acoustic rendition of Alone In A Room! This has been such an incredible album cycle for us so far and we have barely even started! Thank you all so much for your love and support. This is for us, this is for you! We love you!
