BONIFACE Dazzles with New Single ‘Fumbling’
In a hazy swirl of synths and electronic beats, you’ll get swept away by the latest single from Boniface.
Boniface releases his new single Fumbling, and it is sure to set him as another exciting Canadian export to keep an eye out for.
Swooping and soaring, the track swells in all the right places to make your heart tingle with warmth. Dominated by a bed of ambient electronics, a tranquil voice floats atop of this to create a stunning tranquillity to accompany the honest lyricism. A funky bass line takes centre stage in the second verse to create a counter melody to the main vocal melody.
Accompanied by visuals directed by Boniface’s brother and bandmate Joey Visser, it was filmed in their hometown of St Boniface, Winnipeg.
Boniface says of the song:
I wrote Fumbling when I was “falling in love” which is a nice feeling, but in my experience one that’s so terrifying it starts freaking you out to the point that it stops being positive. That makes it kind of halfway between being a declaration of love and a breakup song for me. I still can’t decide which side it’s on, but it’s well intentioned and about as honest as I can get.
