It’s the start of something new, as Family Tree celebrate the exciting start of their journey in the form of debut single Magic Abyss Hotel.

Wonderfully evocative, the debut single from Family Time is a sonic journey into a world distinct to ours.

Bringing a swirl of kaleidoscopic electronics, synths and lulled beats, Magic Abyss Hotel is a hypnotic gaze into what can be expected from the duo. The video, collated from their own footage, offers a perspective into their perceptions and brings a personal charm with it.

In the spring of 2017, two Spaniards retreated from London to the Balearic island of Mallorca.

They set up a small studio where they wrote and recorded a collection of songs. The resulting album has become something of a myth; an epic work, shrouded in half-truths and speculation. Their “mini-opera” – an ode to the hidden sojourns in the Balearic Islands, fleeting trysts and personal epiphanies – is a measured journey, a musical novella, with a level of deep context, continuity and poise.

They emerge with debut single Magic Abyss Hotel, a track/video which encapsulates their incredible journey so far, and offers an insight on whats to come.
