THE STORY SO FAR Unveil Metaphorical Visuals for ‘Take Me As You Please’

West Coast rockers The Story So Far take you on a journey to a parallel fantasy world in their new video for Take Me As You Please.

The Story So Far have released intriguing visuals for their insightful love song Take Me As You Please, taken from their new album, Proper Dose, released earlier this year.

Britpop-inspired, Take Me As You Please is an introspective track that touches the subject of love and drug addiction, as most songs on the new record. Striking with melodic pop sensibility and a stunning acoustic arrangement, it shows the band’s true songwriting growth as they face and acknowledge their past choices.

Directed by Eric Soucy, the video is a portrayal of a visionary place where a woman descends into a gender fluid and faceless world. Packed with enigmatic and metaphorical references (two otherworldly figures most likely represent the “yellow pills and purple glow” that are mentioned in another song, If I Fall), it is a fascinating watch that will lure you in from the very start.
