FAR CASPIAN Unveil New Single ‘Conversations’
Leeds trio returns with a tasteful slice of FM radio dream-pop, Conversations.
Following their last year’s debut EP, Between Days, Far Caspian have released a shimmering dream-pop marvel, Conversations.
Incorporating 80s-inspired elements to their progressive sound, Far Caspian explore a brighter side that life has to offer on their new track. Packed with upbeat sentimental vibes and a breezy FM-radio quality, Conversations finds the band stroll away from their signature melancholy-tinged tones. With a penchant for lo-fi bedroom pop, Far Caspian still charm listeners but light things up a bit this time adding vibrant traits into their sonic dynamics.
Songwriter Joel Johnston says:
The first EP was about being stuck and not really having an idea of how to fix it, whereas this EP is about breaking out and enjoying your 20’s and trying to figure out the process that comes with it. We’ve always loved 80’s bands and we wanted to get more of that influence in our sound. This whole EP definitely explores that more.
The band is set to head out on a string of UK dates next month.
