THE NIGHT CAFÉ Share DIY Video for ‘Endless Lovers’
Get a glimpse into the more everyday life of the band in their newest visuals for Endless Lovers.
Liverpool quartet The Night Café have a way of drawing in nostalgia whilst creating indie hooks that will leave you wanting more. Their newest track Endless Lovers is the first to be lifted from their upcoming debut album, due later this year, and they’ve recently crafted the visuals for it. The track itself broods with emotive vocals, alleviated by a glimmering guitar accompaniment and a pulsing forward drive.
The video follows the band around their hometown of Liverpool, shedding light on the band’s inner workings as they take you around the more mundane moments of playing football with mates and just generally chilling with the people you feel familiar with. The DIY nature of the visuals only add to the sense of intimacy created, and you can’t help but feel a smile spread across your face when you watch the video.
Frontman Sean Martin says about the track:
For me, Endless Lovers has an important message that you should sort of ‘check yourself before you wreck yourself’ in a relationship. You can feel like everyone around you and your significant other is against you, and you just want to push them away. The song was written from a hypothetical point of view, but also I did feel like that at the time, with no valid reason – apart from my head just being fucked.
