Brighton quartet YONAKA prove themselves to be a powerhouse to look out for with their latest track Lose Our Heads. The single is taken off their upcoming debut album Don’t Wait ‘Til Tomorrow, which is set to be released on May 31st via Asylum Records. Entirely self-produced by the band and engineered by bassist Alex Crosby, the album is the product of the past years’ work and it’s sure to be a record full of the unbridled energy we have come to expect from the quartet.

Tackling the more negative aspects of social media and the effects that have arisen out of our dependency on it, it’s a soaring, pummelling track that sees vocalist Theresa Jarvis baring her all for an emotional plea to ‘teach me how to love, I’m asking you to break my heart’. Inflamed riffs and impassioned drumming add fuel to the fire to create a smouldering intensity that is sure to leave you breathless. Prompting you to reflect on our technology addiction and daring us to experience life without it, all of the complexities of love are brought to life within the track.
