THE MODERN STRANGERS Release Video for ‘Magic Hour’
The ‘magic’ in Magic Hour gets brought to life by the recently released visuals for the track.
Tunbridge Wells-based The Modern Strangers unveil the ethereal visuals for their newest single Magic Hour, lifted from their forthcoming EP Visions which will be released on July 12th.
Breezes of synth wash over you whilst delicate falsetto vocals caress the lulling melody, creating a docile harmony for you to settle back into. The video follows the band around as they wander through the breathtaking landscape of Iceland, creating a vastness both in sound and visuals that gives the track space to breathe. With views of glaciers and expansive mountains, you can’t help but feel enchanted by all of it.
Frontman Max Davenport explains of the video:
We were really lucky to find some cheap flights to Iceland, where fittingly, the 4 hours of daylight they have when we went are always “Magic Hour”. We wanted somewhere with huge scenery for the imagery; everywhere you look there is simply spectacular. It was pretty challenging, given that after the 4 hours of light, it goes dark incredibly fast, so we shot the rest of the video in our homeland of Dungeness and Camber.
