Alternative rockers Ashland’s new single Over The Moon is cute and dreamy.

With shimmering, airy vocals and chilled instrumentation, Over The Moon makes for a very easy listening. The track has also been released with an adorable video to match the euphoric tone.

Over The Moon is taken from Ashland’s upcoming new album of the same name, out 13th December via Rise Records. If this is anything to go by we are expecting a very elegant, potentially almost christmasy soundtrack.

Vocalist Asia Marie explains the meaning behind the band’s name:

My grandma told me a story about an old town that had been burned down by a fire and was renamed Ashland once it was rebuilt. We love the idea of beauty and growth coming from pain and struggle, and I think it really connects with the whole spirit of our band.
