SELFISH THINGS Reveal New Music Video for ‘Torn’
Selfish Things collaborate with Spencer Chamberlain from Underoath in their latest single Torn.
Taken from their debut album Logos, released earlier this year, the ominous track Torn starts with delicate guitar and a soft drumbeat which ultimately blends with vocals from Alex and Spencer.
The two seemed to have enjoyed working together, Alex Biro had this to say:
Working with Spencer was a dream come true for all of us. ‘Torn’ was one of our favourite songs on the album already but having him lend his voice took it to an entirely different level.
On his involvement, Spencer shares:
I normally don’t feature on records but when I heard ‘Torn’ for the first time it just blew me away. I loved what these guys were up to and Alex just had something about his voice that I loved.
Taking inspiration from old silent films, the visuals combine the classic text explaining the story with dark gloomy shots of the band performing. The most of video is shot in black and white until Spencer appears performing in front of a red backdrop, adding more shock to the fact that he makes an appearance on the track and video.
