HAYLEY KIYOKO Unveils Music Video for ‘she’
Hayley Kiyoko has shared her final single, she, off of her new project I’M TOO SENSITIVE FOR THIS SHIT.
The song highlights self-empowerment and knowing your self-worth, and is a perfect final introduction to her project.
she comes with a self-directed, one-shot, nostalgia-filled music video. Complete with WordArt, colorful decorations and even a cameo from N’SYNC’s Lance Bass, the video depicts a younger Kiyoko daydreaming in her childhood bedroom.
Speaking about the tune, Hayley Kiyoko highlights its message:
‘She’ is an unofficial anthem to keep me going through the hard times when I’m unsure of myself. I wrote this song as a tribute to embracing your dreams and being unafraid to live fully in your truth without regrets. To NOT be ashamed of being a strong, vulnerable, hardworking woman who knows what she wants, and who won’t let anyone or anything stop her from chasing her dreams.
Kiyoko first announced her project I’M TOO SENSITIVE FOR THIS SHIT in October of last year. After releasing a song each month, the project is finally complete with the release of she. Although she has recently announced that she is cancelling her US tour, we hope to see her perform these gorgeous five songs soon.
