ALL TIME LOW Confess to Being ‘Some Kind Of Disaster’
Although they might call themselves Some Kind Of Disaster with their newest single, we’re entirely unconvinced with this self-proclaimed title and a listen through the track will see you in agreement with us.
It’s been over a year since we last heard any new music from All Time Low, but the catchy tunes of their last album Last Young Renegade are still as fresh as ever in our minds. However, the anticipation for more music from the band is over as they share new single Some Kind Of Disaster.
The standalone single debuted alongside a music video directed by Lewis Cater which sees the band in a support group situation, confessing some of their less-positive qualities. It’s an empowering song and video as the band shed light upon their own flaws, reminding us that we’re all human at the end of the day with our own aspects to improve upon, but there’s nothing wrong with this. The empowering message is set to zealous melodies that will get you up on your feet, dancing and singing along.
Speaking of the track, frontman Alex Gaskarth says:
The Young Renegades are no more… Reintroducing your favourite disaster, All Time Low. We took a step away for a minute- did some growing, did some soul searching, some healing… Now we’re back and ready to be all yours again, our battle scars worn proudly, and our hair looking better than ever (it’s best if you just agree). We’ve missed you all so much and we’re so excited for what comes next. Feels like we’ve been keeping secrets from you for way too long… Been hard to keep our mouths shut, honestly. It’s a song and dance we’ve done a thousand times before, but this one feels extra-good. Besides, it’s never the same dance twice. Hope you dig this new song as much as we do… After all, it’s all for you.
