THE PALE WHITE Release New Single ‘Polaroid’

Newcastle’s The Pale White have returned with a punchy new single, Polaroid.

The Pale White 2020

The trio, comprised of brothers Adam (vocals, guitar) and Jack Hope (drums) and bassist Tom Booth, has gained early attention from NME, MTV, BBC Introducing. Their early singles and EPs won them slots at Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds. Polaroid builds on this success and pushes their momentum into 2020.

The tune is infectious with drums bursting into the first verse. The lyrics are powerful and pair wonderfully with the high-energy rhythm Jack anchors with his drumming. Adam’s voice is clear and bright, a wonderful contrast to the guitar melody.

With opening slots completed for The Amazons, Sam Fender, Foals, and more, The Pale White are positioned for a meteoric rise, quickly becoming a band to watch.

On the single, the band describes:

It’s the start of a new decade, but ‘Polaroid’ talks about the past. It’s a melancholy blast about freezing a specific moment in time and living in it forever. Ironically, it’s quite the opposite of how we’re feeling as a band. We’re feeling stronger than ever and ready to take on the 20’s.
