Northern Irish musician JC Stewart had been making waves throughout last year following the release of his debut EP When The Light Hits The Room, and he continues his takeover with his newest release Break My Heart. A self-proclaimed ‘professional sadboy’, he continues building his brand of attention-grabbing pop songs about love and heartbreak as he gets honest in Break My Heart. With an upbeat tempo and crooning vocals, the chorus of the track will be sure to replay in your head as you dance along to the stomping beats.

Speaking about the theme of the track, JC Stewart elaborates:

‘Break My Heart’ is big, fast and fun. It’s about someone who can catch you so off guard that they can ruin a city for you and tear your life apart. But sometimes that can be addicting.

The accompanying video captures this feeling by presenting JC Stewart as one-half of a volatile couple, quickly flashing between the highs of sharing time together and being blissed out by each other’s presence, to icy stares and an unspeakable emotional distance. The whirlwinds of the erratic relationship is cinematically portrayed, and builds upon the inner conflict in play throughout the track.
