SXSW Announces Second Round of Showcasing Artists for 2021 Virtual Festival
The exclusively online experience will take place March 16-20.

The second announcement contains more showcasing artists from the year prior and fresh new talents. The new additions to the 2021 slate include an assorted range of artists from all over the globe. Highlights include Okinawan power-pop rapper Awich; twangy-surf rock guitarist Johnny Aries; Afro-folk singer/songwriter Bongeziwe Mabandla; JaRon Marshall a contemporary jazz and soul hip hop producer; Mexican singer and actress Ximena Sariñana; Kota Banks and Ninajirachi, whose collaborative EP True North made waves in November; New Zealander Nadia Reid; Matilda Mann, a London-based newcomer that released both her debut EP and a gorgeous follow up in 2020; and more.
The SXSW Online 2021 will be streamed via web, mobile, and the SXSW Online Connected TV app (Apple TV, Fire TV, Roku, Samsung TV Plus, and Android TV). Select content will be viewable in VR via SXSW Online XR.
