Perhaps one of Ireland’s quickest rising indie-rock bands, Inhaler is made up of Eli Hewson, Robert Keating, Josh Jenkinson, and Ryan McMahon. They debuted in 2018 and in the short time of being a band, have released a number of hit singles such as We Have To Move On and Falling In. Back in 2019, Inhaler released a demo of It Won’t Always Be Like This, that caught the attention of… pretty much everyone, and fans have since been after a studio version. Well, their wish is Inhaler’s command, as the studio version has just been released.

Also the name of their forthcoming debut album, which is set for release on July 9th, It Won’t Always Be Like This is a single full of optimism, and those six words have become ones to hold onto throughout the last year. With rising guitar hooks and building, layered melodies, Hewson’s vocals provide a certain euphoria that adds to the hopeful message of the track. The release of this single makes Inhaler’s career thus far come almost full circle; it is the end of an era from the original demo to now, and we’re ready for wherever their journey will take them next.

On the single, Hewson comments:

There is a sense of optimism on this album and the song ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’ is the main catalyst for that. We kept coming back to that title.
