JEREMY ZUCKER Drops Infectious New Tune ’18’
Reminiscent of an early 2000s coming-of-age movie, 18 is guitar-driven indie-pop at its finest.
Platinum-certified singer, songwriter, and producer Jeremy Zucker returns with a summer-ready anthem in the form of his latest single, 18. The new track paves the way for Zucker’s highly anticipated second full-length album, due out later this year.
Buzzing with energy and immediacy, 18 is a story of a teenage romance that you won’t be able to get enough of. Think gritty guitars, singalong choruses, and radio-ready indie-pop hooks; all spiced up with a sweet tinge of nostalgia. Bathed in summer sunlight, 18 offers the thrill of infatuation, joyfully pairing youthful carefreeness with hopeless romanticising.
Speaking on the new single, Jeremy Zucker shares:
’18’ is written from the perspective of a high schooler dating an older girl, and the thrills and excitement of that relationship. I wrote the song with some friends while we spent a week in Newport, Rhode Island. It feels straight from the soundtrack of an early 2000s coming-of-age film.
