Wrought with emotion and unfiltered honesty, Hollow is the gripping new single from Execution Day.

Pennsylvania quartet Execution Day blend the emotiveness and impassioned instrumentals from metalcore and hard rock to create their own sound that treads the lines of both. Their latest single, Hollow, will ‘make you sad while you headbang’ in their own words, and we can vouch for that as the stirring vocals bring up deeply buried emotions while the pounding drums provide a solid rhythmic grounding.

The track almost bleeds with a melancholy that you can’t escape from, permeating across the different textures to create a deeply cathartic listening experience. Between the pummelling drums and forceful guitars, it’s obvious that the band has poured all of their feelings into their performance and the intensity of their honesty will raise the hairs on the back of your neck. The lyrics don’t shy away either from broaching hard-hitting themes, as it creates a space for you to spill your hopelessness and be able to move on from it.
