THE SADDERDAYS Release Lo-Fi Alt-Pop Track ‘Under The Stars’
Only their third release, The Sadderdays show us what they’re made of in Under The Stars, a beautiful, heartfelt anthem.

A small percentage of listeners and readers will admit they don’t know much of Nashville-based quintet, The Sadderdays – but this is your chance to get to know about them and their talent. Comprised of Hayley Kempsell, Liam Welch, Cody Clayton, Sam Skorik and Joe White, the band has been “slow-rocking the shit out of” music for the past year. The Sadderdays have just released their third single, Under The Stars, and it’s hard not to get hooked.
Coming in at five minutes long, the band reiterates that there’s no need to rush: Hayley takes her time, stretching out her smooth soul-esque vocals, and just letting loose. The song is incredibly simple. Its lucid, dream-like instrumentals – led by a gorgeous guitar melody – are accompanied by incredible vocals. No high-tech, overly-edited layering or harmonising occurs: it really is just one (wo)man and a guitar. Written about a sour friendship, listeners resonate with and cope with that pain as Hayley soothes. Truly incredible.
