An acclaimed and quickly-rising singer-songwriter and composer, Evran hails from Norway and strives to discover the “moments where music turns into magic.” Following the release of his first three singles in 2019 and 2020, Evran has been on a year-long hiatus in which he wrote and produced new music, and participated in the Norwegian version of reality singing competition The Voice.

Exemplifying the art of great storytelling, Evran’s debut EP A Perfect Day is set to be a prequel to his debut album A Perfect Day, Forever Ago, which is due for release in early 2022. At the core of the forthcoming EP and album is the ideology that we, as humans, typically yearn for perfect days in our past and this influences us to be mentally absent for the idyllic, irreplaceable moments in our present.

I Miss The Way You Smell In The Summer is reflective of the West Norwegian summers that Evran experienced, which are renowned for predominantly rainy and long days where the sun sets at the late time of 23:00. A key component of terrific storytelling is the inclusion of sensory descriptions and Evran has undoubtedly mastered this art with his lyrical portrayals of painting “the sky red” and nostalgia for the muse’s scent.
