WEEZER Announce New Album ‘Pacific Daydream’
The LA outfit to release their eleventh studio album, Pacific Daydream this October.

The time has finally come. Weezer have announced details of their eagerly awaited full-length #11, Pacific Daydream set to arrive in October.
Frontman Rivers Cuomo says that a Chinese proverb inspired the design behind the entire record. Well, it sounds pretty promising:
Once upon a time, I, Chuang Chou, dreamt I was a butterfly, fluttering hither and thither, to all intents and purposes a butterfly. I was conscious only of my happiness as a butterfly, unaware that I was Chou. Soon I awaked, and there I was, veritably myself again. Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man.
To coincide with the announcement, Weezer gave another taste of what’s to come. Here’s their brand new track Mexican Fender.
Pacific Daydream due out on October 27th via Crush Music/Atlantic Records.

Produced by Butch Walker, Pacific Daydream is the follow up to the critically acclaimed album Weezer (The White Album), which was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Album at the end of last year. It hits stores while the band are in the midst of their UK tour. See the dates below.
