IRIS LUNE Release New Single ‘Paper Mache’
The Brooklyn art-pop outfit unveils second single, Paper Mache of forthcoming EP Lost In Chatter.

With their captivating electro-pop Iris Lune certainly catch the ear. The experimental soundscape is rich and elaborated without ever feeling forced. Ella Joy Meir’s vocals often play around the intricate compositions of Asher Kurtz, and together they create a compact yet airy feel to the song. Though the melody at times can feel suffocating, it’s over all a dramatic, yet dynamic tune brewing on an unusual sonic.
According to the band the track is about the struggle to love yourself, with the protagonist in the song choosing a ‘paper mache’ love that’s “homemade, seemingly beautiful and strong, but actually very fragile and unstable,” Joy explains. “Made of paper and water.”
Lost In Chatter EP is due in November.
