NOVACUB Share Yearning New Single ‘I Still Need It’
If you’re a sucker for catchy alt-pop tracks, then the newest offering from NOVACUB will be right down your alley.

London-based quartet NOVACUB are about to be your new favourite band, as they release their infectious first single I Still Need It.
With cutting riffs and a light spring to its step, the lightness of the melody contrast against the darker meaning behind the lyrics. There’s a lot of emotion mixed into the track, as it sheds light on the feelings left over after a relationship turns sour. Singing “Cause I still need it, but I don’t feel it now”, it draws out the very dichotomy that characterises the track, as you’re torn between needing a love lost and being bitter and angry about the situation.
Vocalist Louise Bartle explains:
I Still Need It is about a failing relationship in my life – feeling someone slip away and questioning my own feelings in the process. There’s a mix of desperation and anger that still takes me back to that moment.
