The London-based rock band have released their newest track Night Running featuring LA singer and producer Beck, off their upcoming album Social Cues.

After announcing their fifth full length album in February and releasing a music video for their song Ready To Let Go, Cage The Elephant have now unveiled a brand new collaboration with Beck. The collaboration doesn’t come as a surprise, since the band has recently announced a co-headlining US tour with the singer throughout July and August aptly named the Night Running Tour.

It’s no surprise that with a summer tour comes a summer song. Night Running has a relaxing vibe, Alt-J meets Twenty One Pilots, and Beck’s involvement definitely pulls the band closer to the indie side. It’s a slightly different sound than we’re used to from Cage The Elephant, and we’re fascinated to find out how it will fit into the rest of the album, especially compared to the more unsettling vibe of Ready To Let Go.

Social Cues will be out April 19th through Columbia Records. Cage The Elephant will also be playing London, Edinburgh and Birmingham in June.
