If you’re in search of some joy, then look no further than the exuberant new track from KAWALA, Play It Right. 

North London’s KAWALA wouldn’t be the first musicians to encounter difficulties when trying to write a song, but we can quite confidently guess that not many of these musicians would turn the situation on its head and write a song about the difficulties of writing a song. Despite the hardships that the track seeks to address, listening to Play It Right could not be an easier sailing with its rhythmic grooves and sprightly instrumentals, topped off by optimistic vocals that hold within them the joys of youth. As airy vocals glide past bouncy guitars, you’ll struggle to keep yourself from tapping or dancing along to the infectious vibrancy that the track exudes.

Explaining more of the track, the band says:

When writing Play it Right we thought, what better topic for a song than to discuss the difficulties of writing a song itself. It’s kind of set from the perspective of an internal voice guiding you through the many obstacles faced when trying to write a screamer.
