Annie Mac had a very significant guest last night. Think beyond the regular understanding of the word significant. I wish people of that kind paid me a visit from time to time.

Carl Barât himself popped into the studio with the Hottest Record In The World – the new track Heart Of The Matter from The Libs upcoming new album (more info here). And oh how it matters! Listen below.

Mr. Barât vaguely commented the song saying:

“Heart Of The Matter” is one of the last songs we recorded and it goes into sort of depression.. But it has to come up to the top and fight the demons. It’s quite universal topic really.
