ST. TROPEZ Release New Track ‘Democracy’
The Dutch rockers follow up their self-titled debut with politically charged single.

Democracy is a concoction of rough edged guitar and refined lyrics all wrapped up in swoony reverb and aggressive noise. With their garage sound, relentless guitar hammering and in-your-face spirit it is hard to distinct the Amsterdam boys from the North American garage scene. On the other hand their EP is produced by Rob Schnapf who’ve also worked with scene-pioneers, FIDLAR, and the similarity can be striking.
Dealing with topics such as fear, populism, debate, nativity, nationalism, hope, politics, immigration and democracy, their forthcoming Debate EP covers the essence of its time, facing and debating complex issues as well as naive reactions.
Democracy is taken from St. Tropez forthcoming Debate EP, which is set for release 23rd February.
The band will play a couple of show these coming months to support the release.
