TEMPESST Unveil Groovy New Video for Single ‘Sunflower Lady’

London-via-Australia collective shares self-directed video for their latest single.

The East London outfit’s most recent delivery is elegantly balanced between groovy vibes and charming enthusiasm.

The psych-pop tune floats on Toma Banjanin’s lead vocal, soaring over the firm foundation of layers that build up the psychedelic escapism, escalating into a dream with a 60s tint.

The video very much aligns with the melody of the song, featuring psychedelic trippy imagery in-between takes of the band. It also involves a lot of interesting dance moves from various band members, just that alone makes the video worth a watch.

Vocalist explains:

‘Sunflower Lady’ is about being under the spell of a girl. You’d do anything to have her – so I had to write a song about it.

Speaking a little more on the idea behind the video, Andy Banjamin said:

Originally the idea was to feature my cat Riley as the star of the video but he was very unhappy that I took him out of the house. So after hours of chasing him around the studio we ended up only getting one shot with him and then decided to take turns dancing in front of the camera. There you have it.

Tempesst now head out on another UK tour of their own, headlining the below dates.
