THE ACADEMIC share new single Mixtape 2003.

The Academic have announced the release of their brand new single Mixtape 2003, the follow up to their debut EP Loose Friends (Oct 2015).

The Irish four-piece return with their latest offering Mixtape 2013. Produced by Philip Magee, the track exemplifies youthful spirit while looking back at the past, looking back at those days. The upbeat rhythms and rock vibes with an indie swirl are ideal to soundtrack your summer.

Having opened for Noel Gallagher, Catfish & The Bottlemen and The Strokes (to mention just a few) the Mullingar boys have certainly started drawing many people’s attention to their sharp and dynamic live shows. And there’s much more to be seen.

Mixtape 2003 is set for release on August 12th. Stream the song below.

The band will also appear at a few festivals across Europe this summer. What’s more, they will come back for their headline UK tour later this year.
