FAUX Reveal New Track ‘Hot Headed’
The band to join Counterfeit. on tour this Spring.
The Southampton-based quartet has shared first new music since their last year’s debut EP, Inhale.
New cut, Hot Headed, opens with a sharp blend of confident guitars and salient drums. Shortly joined by somewhat shy vocal harmonies the track creates a sense of suspense before bursting into heavier chorus. Despite being built around repetitive sequences the tune sparks a catchy tone and potential which make you press play again to give it another go. As the band has been holed up in the studio busy writing new material with a slightly different sound, we’re really intrigued to hear what they bring in next.
Singer Lee Male says of the track:
‘Hot Headed’ combines our love of intricate musicianship and pop melodies; lyrically it explores the struggle of big personalities in small tight friendship groups.
