JORDAN MACKAMPA Unveils New Track ‘Saint’
Artist announces new EP, Tales From The Broken.
Something for the soul here for you today. A little something to get you through the work day grind. His name is Jordan Mackampa and the song is Saint.
Born in the Congo, now calling Coventry home, this track is coming from his forthcoming EP, Tales From The Broken.
‘Saint’ is a song that speaks to a piece of all of us. There isn’t such a thing as good people or bad people in my mind, we’re all complicated and need to accept parts of ourselves that we equally like and dislike. The idea was to draw on the idea of how we are all just trying to figure out a purpose in life and sometimes that leads to something else for guidance.
You can hear the diverse range of influences pour into this track and how he has made it into something to call his own. A little folk, gospel turned into a really catchy track that infectiously has the shoulder shaking. A sign of some true refinement and craftsmanship, excited to see what is in store when the EP drops.
