Iffy Orbit unveil second single, Slow Times, of their forthcoming debut album.

The single, previously known as Crystal Eyes, has been in the loop since 2013 and now it finally seems as though Iffy Orbit will give this hit it’s time in the limelight.

With their distinct bouncy melodies and intertwining elements, Iffy Orbit have once again released a track that peaks your interest. Slightly more fluid that previous Let It Go, the band delves into a colourful and trippy soundscape. Dipping into more psychedelic influences ala Tame Impala, the suburban Oslo guys still hold a thumb on their indie vibes through the striking, auxiliary percussion. Slow Times is a saturating tune with plenty of melodic and lyrical material to dig into.

Iffy Orbit themselves explain that:

This song has existed almost as long as we’ve been a band, so it is in many ways our baby, the strawberry on the cake, the coolest kid in class, and now we’re sending it off into the world to represent us. We like that we managed to make an energetic tune that still goes so immensely slow, especially because it’s about something as easy and fun and problematic as drunkenness. The goal is that the tune will be played at a classic home-alone-party. It’ll be super meta, and meta is art, right?

The Oslo lot’s debut is set to be released sometime this summer through Toothfairy.
