Australian musician and producer Nick Murphy, formally known as Chet Faker, has given us a new single Medication.

After the release of his EP Missing Link back in May this fresh track comes just before he hits the road in the US & UK.

The Australian born New-York based musician and producer serves up a whole lot of attitude with this one. Murphy has balanced moments of manic energy and more soothing ones, and he yet again has shown us that he’s more than capable of mastering an astonishing amount of elements as the song progresses. He is pushing components in an unique and profound way, with vocals driven through verses with full force before flowing into layered liquid gold.

(It) is a song about ignorance and flawed logic. I wanted to see what it was like writing about ego-fuelled confidence.
