The time has come for Tel-Aviv post-punk outfit Document as their debut album, The Void Repeats, has just been released.

To celebrate the album release Document have given us a new single from their creation titled Red Tape, and it is their most impressive offering yet.

Theatrical yet catchy at times, this track is generous with ample epic guitar moments and soaring drums. Always presenting some diversity, the guys have delivered the contemporary sounds with subtle nod to the past.

Aptly, given the title, vocalist Nir Ben Jacob explains:

The song refers to dealing with bureaucracy – specifically with government agencies that are meant to serve the people when in fact they have made things so extremely complicated that you are lost and get screwed over if you’re not careful.
