PREP Share Video for ‘Don’t Bring Me Down’

PREP are back with brilliant clip for Don’t Bring Me Down, the first single from their forthcoming EP Cold Fire, due out in April.

Directed by Tuixen Benet (also behind the choreography for Tame Impala’s ‘The Less I Know The Better’ clip), the visuals for Don’t Bring Me Down unfold a beautifully bizarre story of a Korean dancer-come-birdman.

Appositely shot in the perma-sun of Los Angeles’ Korea Town, the video follows a young Korean dancer through the neighbourhood’s rooftops, parking lots and neon-lit streets until he gradually transforms into a Birdman.

Don’t Bring Me Down marks PREP‘s first new music since their 2016’s debut EP Futures, and it’s exactly what we need to chase the wintery blues away. With its resilient rhythmic and infectious chorus, you’ll instantly feel like jumping in and joining the fellow dancer. The sun-soaked imagery and carefree tone of the clip masterfully play alongside the upbeat nature of the track, shaping up quite a surreal experience.

PREP will support the release of Cold Fire EP with a headline date at London’s Oslo on May 5th.
