Wild Nothing has shared Letting Go, the first single off of their forthcoming new album, Indigo.

Wild Nothing, the project of Los Angeles-based Jack Tatum, is set to release his fourth album, Indigo, out on August 31st via Captured Tracks.

As a first taste, Wild Nothing has unveiled sweeping new track, Letting Go. Fusing sparkling guitars, broad synths and sweet vocal harmonies, it creates a sense of pure bliss. It won’t take long before you add this song to your summer playlist.

Tatum says:

I wanted it to sound like a classic studio record, as close as I could get it there. It just boils down to me wanting to fit into some larger narrative, musically, in terms of these artists I love. I think about how my music will age. Ideas of ‘timeless’ are going to be different—so if Indigo is not timeless then it’s at least ‘out of time.’
