THE FLATLINERS Announce New EP ‘Mass Candescence’
Toronto punks The Flatliners release news about their new 7″Mass Candescence with new single The Arousal Of Repair.
If you are after some bombastic punk tunes, then you should check out Toronto quartet The Flatliners, who have announced their new EP Mass Candescence, set to be released on June 15th via Dine Alone Records.
To celebrate, they have shared the first single from the EP, The Arousal Of Repair. Featuring heartfelt riffs and stunning vocal harmonies, an air of nostalgia surrounds this track and will send emotions coursing through you. It’s a perfect track for summer nights, and you can imagine it sounding through the speakers as the dusk glow envelopes you.
Mass Candescence is comprised of 3 tracks, including The Arousal Of Repair, and sees the band holding fast to the DIY punk-rock ethos that has been at the group’s core since their beginning, nearly 16 years ago. Speaking about the track, frontman Chris Cresswell says:
On ‘Mass Candescence’, we pick up where ‘Inviting Light’ left off and we feel that bulb burning bright. These are summer songs about the politics of living, and the heartbreak of growing up. Turn it up, feel your age, and beat the heat.
The band will be bringing their music to the UK this summer. Catch them at the following dates:
