PALE WAVES Unveil New Track ‘Noises’
Dreamy goth-pop floats through the speakers for the newest single released by Pale Waves, Noises.
Pale Waves have released their latest single Noises in the wake of a string of tour announcements for the UK, Ireland, Europe, and North America.
With dreamy synth beats and captivating vocals, there’s a feeling of summer dusk in the track as the listener wavers between feelings of intensity and airiness. The passion behind the ardent lyricism is conveyed through soaring highs and breathy falsettos, which will grip you with an emotional intensity you can’t escape from.
Tackling themes of mental health and body insecurity with lyrics like “I feel like I’m slowly losing myself / I’m afraid that I need help” and “Why do I stare so much at my body?”, the single delivers an important message as well as a banging tune. There’s no place to hide from the honesty, which is delivered through glittering melodies, expressing the unspoken thoughts haunting the back of our minds. It’s refreshing in the way it tackles important topics without the track sounding too heavy-hearted.
The band will be playing their biggest headline show to date at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in September, so go along and catch this gleaming track live.
