Canadian pop-punk band Bearings are set to release their debut full-length Blue In The Dark in October.

Bearings have confirmed details of their debut album, Blue In The Dark, which will arrive on October 12th via Pure Noise Records.

As a first taste of what’s to expect from their new material, the band have shared new track Aforementioned. Watch the video for it below.

Doug Cousins explains:

Sometimes it takes a couple rough nights to appreciate what and who you have in your life. Aforementioned is a reflection on the worst and best nights of this past year. You can’t have the ups without the downs and that’s something I’m learning to accept.

Blue In The Dark is a follow-up to the band’s EP Nothing Here Is Permanent, which was released last year.

On the working process Doug says:

We went in with the plan of writing a dynamic record and I think we did that. I’ve always loved bands like Jimmy Eat World for not being afraid to try and write a record without boundaries musically. Myself and the guys wanted to replicate that attitude and approach to the writing of the record.
